WHAT TO BRING/WHAT TO WEAR

  • Hiking boots: comfortable and strong
  • Waterproofs: rain coat, trousers
  • Layers of clothing: so you can regulate warmth (no jeans since they will hold moisture and you will get cold)
  • Hat, gloves, and waterproof leggings are a must in winter
  • Change of clothes/shoes for after the hike
  • Food: Bring sandwiches, some snacks and water (at least 1 litre, more in hot weather)

A hot drink is recommended in winter

  • Sorry, but dogs are not permitted

Be aware, for the safety of yourself and others, you may not be allowed to go on the walk

if you are not properly equipped.

AFTER THE HIKE

We like to support local business in the areas where we hike so we usually visit a café or pub for refreshments after the hike. Always bring a change of clothes, socks and shoes for after the hike.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

We try to organise a car pool with 3/4 people to a car. Passengers give a modest amount to cover expenses. This is divided among the drivers.
